Welcome to Mount Zion College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research situated at Pathanamthitta (Dist), Kerala. The campus is spread over an area of 2.5 acres. It is situated in a calm, peaceful and pollution-free environment. The campus is equipped with modern labs, class rooms, seminar hall, library, student centre for co-curricular activities, computer lab, academic and administrative blocks and other amenities for exclusive and widespread provision for indoor and outdoor games.
The classrooms are spaciously designed and are well furnished with necessary technical teaching aids like OHP, Slide projectors, LCD Projector, Laptop and power supply. The Institute possesses a Seminar Hall. The Hall plays host to guest lectures, seminars and various presentations. The College library has a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources. Keeping in view the increased emphasis on technology, the College has developed computer lab with broad - band connection. The computer lab is equipped with sufficient number of computers with the latest configuration and software. In addition, we also have our own internet facility through local ISP.
The hostel rooms for students have provision of 24 hour power back up with wireless internet connectivity and provide a professional ambience for work. There is centrally located dining hall; the food prepared is a mixture of Indian and Continental. The hostel is managed by student’s body, with the help of an advisory body of the College.
A centrally located indoor stadium is being developed to provide facilities for all indoor games, such as table tennis, badminton, carom and chess. The campus has also been facilitated with a widespread outdoor area for cricket, volleyball and football. The College also possesses a neat and clean canteen in which all types of food is being served and the College museum exhibiting more than 100 crude drugs, herbarium sheets, botanical specimens & charts of drugs & plants, colored slides of medicinal plants, patent medicines & containers of common usage in medicines.
Indian pharmaceutical industry is developing into global leaders and trend setters. Many of the Indian Pharmaceutical companies have grown from humble beginning and emerged as well as respected multinationals. This offers employment opportunity for qualified personal in the pharmaceutical segments of contract research and manufacturing and marketing.
